Carss Park Pool Now Under Construction!

Before I became Premier, I promised we would rebuild Carss Park Pool.

I’m pleased to say we are delivering on that promise with construction of the new $63.5 million Carss Park Aquatic Centre now underway.

The pool is expected to open next year.

The new pool will feature an 8-lane, 50m outdoor pool, an outdoor Learn to Swim pool as well as supporting changing rooms and toilet blocks, providing our community with a new modern facility.

The new Carss Park Pool will also incorporate a 1.4m-high glass façade above the pool concourse, along with an eastern elevation facing Kogarah Bay. This has been added to protect from any weather conditions while still having a view of the beautiful waterfront.

My Government is getting on with the job of delivering the pool our community deserves.

I know there is much more to do and I’ll keep working hard to deliver for the people of St George.

If you would like any more information on this, or any other State Government matter, please contact me at my office on 9587 9684 or at kogarah@parliament.nsw.gov.au
